2008 CEO Half Marathon Championship, Barbados

CEOs Must Previously Qualify to Participate
The inaugural CEO Half Marathon Championship will be held in conjunction with the Barbados Half Marathon on December 7, 2008. To qualify to take part in the Championship, entrants must have run the following qualifying time at a certified half marathon in the previous 12 months from registering (age is as of Dec 7, 2008):- 39 & Under: Men - 1:32 / Women - 1:48
- 40-49: Men - 1:40 / Women - 1:55
- 50 & Over: Men - 1:48 / Women - 2:02
“We had such great feedback from our CEO Marathon Challenge last year that we decided to continue the CEO Challenge program to more running events,” stated Ted Kennedy of CEO Challenges. “We know that many CEOs ran in College and, with a bit of training, can be competitive again. The Half Marathon is a perfect combination of speed and endurance, so we created the CEO Half Marathon Championship to find out who are the Best CEO Runners in the World!”

- Entry into the 2008 Barbados Half Marathon

Event Costs
- Entry Fee: $2,200 USD Race entry, accommodations and meals for two
- Guest Fee: $350 USD For each additional guest staying in your room
Eligibility
This event is open to CEOs, Presidents, and Owners of companies with at least $1.5 million in annual sales revenue. C-Suite executives of companies with at least $3 million in annual revenue are also welcome to take part, as well as Celebrities.
