"I truly enjoyed the CEO Challenge at the South Beach Triathlon! It was an amazing personal challenge and I think it is a great way for a CEO to demonstrate to his or her company through action and leadership by example the value and importance of physical fitness to personal health. The Leadville 100 mountain bike race is the most grueling and difficult one-day mountain bike race in the world. And for that reason alone the event sells out as soon as registration opens!
The toughest events are the ones that often attract the most attention and desire for entry. In the rarified air of Leadville, CO, at 10,000 feet and climbing to the Continental Divide, Leadville is indeed as tough as they get. It is the "Kona" of mountain biking.
Competitive Nature Channeled Through Grueling Triathlon Preparation
Commercial real estate company JLL and Life Time Fitness' CEO Challenges division worked together to bring a whole new meaning to Corporate Hospitality.

We are pleased to confirm that Spartan Race founder and CEO Joe De Sena will be taking part in The Fittest CEO competition as a Guest Competitor!
De Sena was a highly successful Wall St trader in the early 2000s when he sold his company, moved to Pittsfield, VT and started the Death Race (97% drop out rate). Out of the grueling multi-day Death Race he came up with the concept of Spartan Race to 'rip people off their couches' and into obstacle racing. Spartan Race will have over 1 million competitors this year!
