David Daggett - Lewis and Daggett- North Carolina
David is the Managing Partner with Lewis and Daggett, which is a team of 10 lawyers plus staff providing representation to children, families and individuals who are wrongfully injured or disabled, including cyclists and athletes. He has worked his entire career (22 years) at the firm doing the same thing and he "has loved every day!"
David is also the founder and sponsor of Safe Sober Prom Night, Inc., a non-profit corp. The program encourages positive peer pressure for teenagers to "Do It Right!", and reinforce awareness of the dangers of drugs and alcohol - www.safeandsober.com.
David is a competitive triathlete having finished over 140 triathlons in the past 25 years, and is a multiple age group winner and overall place finisher at shorter distances. He has also completed 15 Ironman races, including IM Lake Placid in '05 & '06, IM Canada four times, IM Germany four times, and the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii in '90, '91, '92, and '06. He has an Ironman PR of 10:31 from IM Germany in 1997. Dave finished the CEO Challenge at Ironman Lake Placid in 2006 and 11:24 and qualifed for the CEO Ironman World Championship in Hawaii where he finished in 11:55.
Dave's support team includes his wife, Cynthia, two daughters (age 6 & 8), and son, 4, plus an entourage that often includes his parents and other family members. He is taking part in this year's CEO Ironman Challenge for "the ultimate Ironman experience, thanks to Ted and his staff."
