Dominick Costello - Ricky's NYC (New York, NY)
Dominick Costello is the Partner and Director of stores for Rickys nyc, a beauty supply retailer with 21 stores located mostly in Manhattan also with locations in Brooklyn, Miami, and East Hampton. In this role, Dominick runs the store operations on a daily basis with focus on the growth, vision and direction of the company. No stranger to retail, Dominick has been working in stores for 24 years, and during that time has only been with 2 different companies.
Ricky's a NYC institution since 1988 prides itself on being a leader in Beauty supplies including hair care, skin care, accessories, bath products and much more. What makes Ricky's different is the vast product range that all comes together in a very hip and inviting atmosphere. During the month of October, Ricky's transforms their stores into the coolest Halloween outlets around.
Dominick has been a lifelong fitness enthusiast and health nut. However, he is relatively new to triathlon. After turning 40, the competitive juice started flowing and he started running races and triathlons He has some great debut finishes including the NYC Triathlon (Olympic distance) in 2:31. A 70.3 race is just the next step, and he feels that doing it with CEO challenge can only make the experience more memorable while having some help. Training for the race also helps keep Dominick's life in balance, and the stress levels down. He is supported by his wife Montse, a yoga instructor, as well as his 8-year old daughter Alex, and his 6-year old son Lucas.
