Don Morrison

Don Morrison - Research in Motion (RIM-Blackberry) (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)

Don Morrison is the COO for Research in Motion, the fast growing company behind Blackberry. He travels around the world to help grow RIM's business with more than 300 carrier partners in several different countries primarily in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. RIM is currently the second largest (in terms of market cap) traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange and this from relatively humble beginnings just a few short years ago. Don previously held executive positions at AT&T and Bell Canada.

No stranger to running, Don has been running on and off since 1978 and have competed in more than a few 10ks and 20ks over the years. He did the Toronto Marathon in 2000 at a time of 4hrs and 11 minutes (which he jokes would "qualify me to run in the Boston Marathon...if I was a 65 year old woman.")

He is supported by his wife Debbie and their 2 grown kids (Heather and John.) He signed up for the CEO Challenge because he thought it would act as a motivator and it sounded like fun.
