Georg Partlic - Betontechnik GmBH, Wartberg, Austria
Betontechnik produces concrete admixtures and concrete repair systems, is the leader in the Austrian market for these products, and is now expanding into Eastern Europe. Georg and his partner founded Betontechnik in 2001, and Georg is General Manager of the company, as well as being responsible for the Italian division which produces light-weight aggregates for concrete. Prior to Betontechnik, Georg was manager of the central lab of the Readymix Group (now Cemex) in Austria.
Georg began racing in triathlons in 1993, and has since finished more than 100 races, with his best Ironman time of 9:26 coming from Podersdorf / Austria in 1997. Georg has also completed Roth twice (10:36 in 1995 and 9:55 in 1998), and Switzerland in 2005. Georg earned his slot to Kona by winning the 2007 Europe CEO Challenge at Ironman Austria in 10:51.
