Jim Turley - Deutsche Bank (London, England)
Jim Turley is Managing Director and Global head of sales for Deutsche Bank. Deutsche Bank is a leading global investment bank with a strong and profitable private clients franchise, doing business in 79 countries with 78,000 employees. A leader in Germany and Europe, the bank is continuously growing in North America, Asia, and key emerging markets. Prior to assuming his current role, Jim held the position of Global Head of Currencies and Commodities from 2001 - 2006.
A keen sportsman across all sports, Jim represented England at schoolboy and university levels in rugby. This is his first full Ironman, having previously done olympic- and half- Ironmans.
Jim is married to Jo with three lovely boys Freddie (8) Archie (6) and Jude (4). He signed up for the CEO Challenge having been recommended by good friend Colin Grassie who told him it is by far the best way to compete in any Ironman. Training has always been a large part of Jim's life for the feel good factor and stress relief and even more so now as his mid life crisis takes grip!!
