Matthew Wong - Prima USA Ltd. (New York, NY)
Matthew Wong is the owner and CEO of PRIMA USA Limited. With manufacturing facilities in China, the New York design team at PRIMA develop and produce customized accessory and trimming products for apparel companies in the US. Clients include Polo Ralph Lauren, Jones, Liz Claiborne. It was formed in 2005. As owner/CEO of the company, Matthew oversees the sales office in New York, as well as production offices in Hong Kong and China. Matthew graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, and before PRIMA, had been a clothing designer at a few women's apparel firms for 15 years.
Matthew has only been competing in half and full-distance Ironman races for a few years, but he has competed in races around the world. His personal record is in 2006 Ironman Florida 70.3, finishing in 5:32. Matthew is supported by his wife, Sylvia as well as their 2 young sons, who are his "training partners": "they inspire me to jog anywhere, on any errand with a baby stroller in NYC."
Matthew is looking forward to to meeting, racing with, and learning from other CEOs who share the same active lifestyle, while balancing it with their professional, and family commitments.
