Sean M. McCann is President/CEO of Sterling Underwriters. Sterling Underwriters is a Wholesale Insurance Brokerage and a Managing general Agent specializing in Insurance Programs for Contractors.
Sean is a member of the Young Presidents Organization & a founder of the ChicagoLand Chapter of YPO. He is Currently serving as Chapter Chair of the Chapter.
Sean was a nationally ranked skier in High School and college and had done a few triathlons during this time but took a twenty-year break from the sport until two years ago. In the fall of 2005 Sean gained custody of his then 8 year old son and that spring Sean decided to take up Triathlons to set an example for his son of how to set a goal and accomplish it. Well after two years and 16 events with multiple top age group awards, Sean continues to compete in triathlons all over the US. Sean in now focused on achieving his goal of qualifying for Kona! He is supported by his 10 year old son Ryan.
