William D. Truax - Professional Business Bank (Pasadena, CA )
Professional Business Bank was founded by Bill in 2001 to fill the need for personalized banking services in and around Pasadena. The bank recently announced a merger with Belvedere Capital in order to pursue a business plan involving aggressive acquisition of other banks in the Southern California area.
Bill has been in private tax practice for 30 years and is one of only 250 non-attorneys ever admitted to practice before the bar of the U.S. Tax Court.
Bill's first triathlon of any type was when he competed in the 2006 St. Croix triathlon and finished "dead last" in his age group. In 2007, he improved to 18th out of 25 (he was the top over 50 finisher in the CEO Challenge in 7:16) despite several flats on the bike course, and later in the year competed in the Newfoundland 70.3 triathlon in July, finishing 10th in his age group.
