2008 CEO Tennis Challenge, Carmel Valley CA

CEO Challenges is proud to present the CEO Tennis Challenge® - a unique event of high level networking and a weekend of great tennis. This inaugural event will take place at the beautiful Carmel Valley Ranch in Carmel, California (just outside Monterey), and is designed exclusively for CEOs, Presidents, and business owners. Spend the weekend networking with like-minded executives who share a passion for business and tennis.
Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, and is limited to 24 players.
Tournament Format:
- Doubles Event - Participants play in multiple preliminary rounds and accumulate points for each game won. The top four point scorers will take part in a tie-break playoff to decide the top point scorer. The top point scorer will then be named the Best CEO Tennis Player!
- Each participant will play for their school and the player with the most points will win the CEO Tennis Alumni Challenge and receive a special award

- All-inclusive professionally run tournament by Head Instructor Corey Clark at the 12-court tennis complex at Carmel Valley Ranch, including the finals on the sunken center court on Sunday (The United States Tennis Association ranked Carmel Valley Ranch among the Top 10 tennis resorts in North America)

- Welcome Reception and Dinner for all CEO Tennis Challenge participants and guests begins at 5:00pm at The Tennis Lawn
Saturday October 18, 2008
- Breakfast and Leadership Presentation from 7:30am -9:00am in the Arbor Ballroom with Peter Burwash
- Tennis: Session One 9:30am - 12:30pm
- Lunch from 12:30 - 1:30pm at the Tennis Lawn
- Tennis: Session Two 2:00pm - 5:00pm
- Instructional Program with Peter Burwash 2:00pm - 4:00pm
- Fastest Serve and Most Accurate CEO contests 4:00pm - 5:00pm
- Dinner and Keynote talk by Peter Burwash begins at 7:00pm at The Clubhouse Patio

- Tennis: Session Three 9:00am - 10:00am (Doubles Semi-Finals and Finals)

Event Costs
- Entry Fee: $3,100 USD Accommodation, meals, tournament, apparel, awards, etc.
- Guest Fee: $800 USD Meals - staying in same room as CEO participant
