2008 USA Triathlon Championship, OR

September 18, 2008 - September 21, 2008

HOSTED BY OLYMPIAN MATT REED!

The challenge of running a company, travelling, and raising a family doesn't leave much time for a CEO to train for a triathlon. However for some CEOs triathlon is their passion, and they don't let a lack of time to train deter them from competing at the highest level.

CEO Challenges, the world leader in sport competitions for CEOs, will allow busy CEOs the chance to race against each other at the 2008 USA Triathlon National Championship in Portland, OR on September 20, 2008.

The CEO Triathlon Challenge will be a 'race within the race' at the USAT 'Olympic distance' (1.5k swim, 40k bike, 10k run) event, with up to four (4) of the fastest CEOs from various age groups automatically qualifying for the ITU World Triathlon Championship in Australia in 2009.

And, as an additional perk and time-saving benefit, CEOs will not be required to qualify at a Regional event to compete in the Championships in Portland!

The program will be co-hosted by USA Olympian Matt Reed, and includes a fantastic Dinner with the Pros on Thursday night, 4 days / 3 nights accommodation, a 'fast pass' that allows participants to pick up their kits without having to stand in the long registration lines, bike transportation to Hagg Lake on Friday and back after the race on Saturday, a private CEO Challenge reception at the Awards Party - and all to benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
