Fittest CEO® to be Crowned at USAT Nationals
Team USA slots to the top CEOs
The first CEO Challenge competitor across the line at the USA Triathlon National Championship in September will earn the prestigious title of World’s Fittest CEO®! And, the top CEO Challenge finishers will earn an invitation to join Team USA at the 2011 ITU Age Group World Championship in Beijing, China!
CEO Challenges will host the CEO World Championship in conjunction with the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championship in Tuscaloosa, AL on September 25, 2010. To qualify for the CEO Challenge World’s, CEOs must win their age group at a previous CEO Triathlon Challenge event, or finish an Olympic distance triathlon in under 2:30 (female and men over 50 in 2:45) at a sanctioned USAT event.
“In previous years we have awarded the title of World’s Fittest CEO® at the Hawaii Ironman World Championship,” stated Ted Kennedy, President of CEO Challenges. “However many very fit, very fast CEOs find it impossible to fit a full Ironman into their work, travel, and family schedules. As a result we are pleased to offer the opportunity for the best CEO triathletes in the World to join us in September and compete to see who is the best, and therefore, fittest of all!”
Qualifiers for the CEO Challenges World Championship will be treated to first-class accommodations at the host hotel on the U of Alabama campus, a very special Dinner with the Pros, all logistics including special race check-in, and many opportunities to get to know fellow CEOs that share a passion for business and triathlon – and all to benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation charity.
One spot to Team USA will be reserved for the top CEO Challenge male finisher under 45, the top male 45 and over, and the top finishing female CEO.

Event Schedule
Thursday, September 23
- Arrival - Check in to the U of Alabama's Hotel Capstone (connected to the location of the USAT Expo, registration, and awards ceremony)
- 6pm - CEO Welcome Reception & Dinner with the Pros - downtown Tuscaloosa. Meet your fellow CEO Challenge World Championship competitors, and some of the top professional triathletes in the world!
- 8am - CEO Group practice swim
- 11am - Tour of the U of Alabama campus
- Noon - Athlete & spectator strategy lunch
- Athlete & VIP kit pick-up (in the Pro athlete line)
- Afternoon - Bike check-in
- USAT rules briefing
- 6pm - Pre-race dinner
- 7am - First wave of the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships!
- Guests of the CEOs will be guided to the best locations to see the CEO competitors, and have complete access to the private VIP tent in the finish chute
- Team USA registration to the top CEOs in each age category (total of three slots)
- 12pm - Elite male race, followed by Elite female race
- 4pm - CEO Awards Reception - re-cap of the race, relax and trophies to the top CEO triathetes
- 6pm - Age Group National Championship Awards Ceremony, including trophy presentation on stage

- Entry Fee: $2,600 USD Hotel from 9/23-9/26, gauranteed entry to the USAT Chp, Dinner with the Pros, strategy lunch, race-day VIP passes
Eligibility
There are two ways to be invited to take part in the CEO Challenges World Championship:
- Win your age group at a previous CEO Triathlon Challenge event in 2010
- Be a CEO (or C-suite exec) of a company with over $1 million in annual revenue, and finish in under 2:30 at a USAT sanctioned Olympic distance triathlon in 2009 (2:45 for women and men over 50).
