GUARDINO OF SILICON VALLEY DOMINATES THE CEO CHALLENGE FIELD

The CEO of Silicon Valley Leadership Group, Carl Guardino, used his strong cycling and running skills to convincingly win the 2011 CEO Challenge competition at Subaru Ironman Canada on August 28 in a total time of 11:41.

David Young of Joyent in San Franciso was 2nd in 13:06, and 3rd was Rick Calero of Umpqua Bank in Portland, OR in 13:35.   Both Dave Lee and James Umlah completed their first ever Ironman to round out the field.
