The CEO TRIATHLON CHALLENGE® event at the XTERRA World Championship at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua in Maui, Hawaii is the ultimate test for CEOs that love to swim, bike, and run. Swim in the crystal clear ocean, ride your mountain bike on pineapple roads and single track trails, and complete it all with a knarly off road trail run.    We can guarantee that you won't be thinking about MBOs, share prices, or board meetings in the middle of THIS race!

The CEO Challenge package includes exclusive invitations to private events, pre-race strategy lunch, Saturday Night of Champions dinner, race entry, Sunday Awards Banquet, and 5 days / 4 nights luxury accommodations at the host hotel - the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua.  Plus, CEO Challenge participants are not required to previously qualify at an XTERRA event to take part.

  • Guaranteed entry to the 2012 XTERRA World ChampionshipOctober 28, in Maui, Hawaii, even after the 'at large' entry has closed (includes 2 full access VIP passes and 'front of the stage' seats at the Saturday Night of Champions dinner and the Sunday Awards Banquet)

  • Five days / four nights, accommodation at the incredible Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua Resort - the host hotel of the event

  • Invitation for two to all meals and functions, including Dinner with the Pros, Strategy Lunch, and XTERRA Dinner

Event Schedule

Thursday, October 25

  • Arrive at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua and check into your room
  • 6pm - CEO Welcome Reception & Dinner with the Pros.   Enjoy dinner in the company of one of the sport's top professionals and your fellow competitors

Friday, October 26

  • AM - Group swim
  • PM - Pre-ride the bike course
  • 7pm - Dinner with XTERRA Executives

Saturday, October 27

  • 8am - XTERRA Trail Run (5k & 10k options for guests)
  • 9am - XTERRA Registration and packet pick-up
  • 12pm - CEO Challenge strategy lunch.
  • 6pm - Competitor Briefing
  • 6:30pm - Parade of Nations & Night of Champions Dinner ('front of stage seating' for CEOs and guests)

Sunday, October 28 - RACE DAY

  • 7am - Transition opens for set-up and body marking
  • 8:25am - CEO Challenge team picture - on the beach by the swim exit
  • 8:30am - Blessing of the athletes
  • 9am - XTERRA World Championship Start!
  • 6:00pm - CEO Challenge Awards Reception - relive the war stories, and see who has the most bruises...
  • 7pm - XTERRA Awards Dinner.   CEO Challenge Champions to receive their awards on stage!
  • 9:30pm - XTERRA Halloween Costume Party - dress up and have a ball

Event Costs

  • Entry Fee: $4,150 USD 4 nights at the Ritz-Carlton for two, most meals, 2 VIP passes, racing uniform, cycling kit, charity contribution, advice and guidance

Eligibility

Must be a c-level executive of a company with at least $1 million in annual gross revenue to take part in this event.
