CEO CHALLENGE AT THE CHICAGO TRIATHLON

The Chicago Triathlon is one of the world's largest and greatest triathlons, selling out with 8,000 athletes, 50 of the world's top pros, and an incredible downtown location.

Understandably, due to the large number of athletes and downtown venue, there are some logistical issues.

We are pleased to announce that CEO Challenges has worked with the Chicago Triathlon to find ways around the issues, and offer CEOs as seamless a race experience as possible!

CEO Challenge competitors will basically receive the same privileges as Pro athletes, checking in for the race with the Pros, invitation to all VIP race functions, the ability to rack your bike hours after the rest of transition closes, a special wave for CEO Challenge athletes, private transportation between the transition area and the finish line, and an experienced team to guide your family on race day from the swim start to transition to the special VIP area at the finish line.

If you are a beginner triathlete then you can enter in the Sprint Distance race. Experienced triathletes will be racing in the Olympic distance for the CEO Challenge trophy awarded to the first place competitor on stage at the Awards Ceremony.

What's Included in the Program

  • Guaranteed entry to the Chicago Triathlon, even after it sells out (Sprint or Olympic distance)
  • The opportunity to compete in both your age group AND in the CEO Challenge competition (Olympic distance)
  • Special area within the transition area to allow you to rack your bike 1 hour before your wave (normally can be up to 3 hours)
  • Preferred wave, guaranteeing the least congested course possible
  • Private race packet pick up, with the Pros, at the Hilton
  • Private transportation provided for CEOs, and guests, from the start / transition area and the finish line all day (1.5 miles)
  • Advice, guidance, full-service, and support from CEO Challenges expert staff
  • Invitation to private VIP events offered by the Chicago Triathlon - including Friday night VIP / Sponsor Reception, race-day VIP tent with food & drinks, and after-event private party (for two)
  • Course Talk & Strategy session followed by CEO Pre-Race Dinner Saturday night
  • Awards to the best CEOs in each age group, and presentation to the top CEO on-stage at the Awards Ceremony
  • Contribution to the Life Time Foundation charity on behalf of each participant
  • CEO Triathlon Challenge Team racing zip top, complete cycling kit (Hincapie brand ls jersey, ss jersy & bib shorts), transition bag, and other gifts
  • Biography on each competing CEO, and their company, listed on the CEO Challenges website and in a printed program circulated at the event

Event Schedule

Friday, August 23

  • 4pm - 7pm - Race packet pick up with the Pros (Imperial Suite at the Hilton Hotel) 
  • 6pm - Meet your fellow CEO Challenge participants and your race staff for the weekend at the CEO Welcome Reception - Hilton Hotel
  • 7pm - 10pm Special invitation to the Chicago Triathlon VIP / Sponsors Reception - the Conrad Suite, Hilton Hotel

Saturday, August 24

  • 7:30am - 10:30am - Watch your children compete in the Kids Race
  • 10:00am - 4:30pm - Race packet pick-up (Imperial Suite) 
  • Afternoon - Relax and / or explore the Expo
  • 5:30pm - Private race briefing and strategy discussion led by one of the executives of the Chicago Triathlon
  • 6:00pm - Pre-Race Dinner, downtown location

Sunday, August 25

  • Bike racking & CEO Challenge wave start To Be Announced
  • VIP area at the finish line
  • VIP post-race party & Awards

Event Costs

  • Entry Fee: $1,400 USD Entry fee, 2 VIP passes, dinner with the pros, race day shuttle, racing uniform, charity contribution

Eligibility

Must be a Business Owner or C-level Executive of a company with at least $1 million in annual revenue
