The perfect opportunity to get ready for your 2012 'A' race!
The inaugural camp on Gull Lake in Michigan was such a huge success we are hosting it again in 2012. This year it will be geared towards athletes that are looking for the ultimate in preparation for their big 'A' race in August, September, or later in the year.
Learn from the best - five-time world triathlon champion Simon Lessing and Olympic running coach Darren De Reuck of Boulder Coaching join CEO Challenges to offer an all-inclusive, first-class weekend to provide you with everything you need to have your greatest triathlon racing season ever!
The weekend includes plenty of time open-water swimming, biking, and running, plus instruction sessions on nutrition, training, transitions, and lots of opportunities to have your questions answered by the experts.
You will be treated to fabulous meals at an incredible, luxurious private residence on Gull Lake (sleeps 18!), while enjoying the quite roads in this beautiful part of Western Michigan.
And to top off the weekend - put your new found skills to use in a Sprint Triathlon Race on Sunday morning, complete with bragging rights, and awards to the best in each group.
The cost for the camp is $2,300 per person, which includes all training sessions, all meals and beverages, instruction, sag support for rides, custom cycling gear (jacket, jersey, and shorts), and accommodations from Thursday - Sunday.

Event Schedule
Thurs, July 19
- Arrive at the private home on Gull Lake (13 miles from Kalamazoo)
4:30pm - Easy 'loosen up' run
6:00pm - Welcome Reception, followed by catered Dinner
Fri, July 20
7:00am - Interval run: including warm-up, stretching instruction, fartlek session, and warm-down
9:30am - Breakfast
10:30am - Nutrition counseling: results of pre-camp questionnaire and recommended best solutions for each person. Will include product for testing on the bike.
12:00pm - Lunch
1:30pm - Bike ride: 1.5 - 2 hours easy
4:30pm - Open water swim practice: including instruction on how to properly put on a wetsuit, in water & out of water starts, sighting, drafting, and transition training
6:30pm - Dinner
Sat, July 21
7:30am - Open water swim
9:00am - Breakfast
10:00am - Instruction session: training for Olympic and Half Ironman races, including base phase, intervals, and taper. Triathlon Q&A
12:00pm - Lunch
1:30pm - Long bike ride (3 hrs+)
6:00pm - Dinner at the Gull Lake Country Club
Sun, July 22
8:00am - Sprint Tri Race! 500m swim, 12 mile bike, 5km run. Athletes will be sent off in a 'stagger' format based on their performance over the weekend
12:00pm - Lunch, wrap-up, awards, and depart
